Video clip of a custom Tambura. This instrument is a "one-of-a-kind" model that was made by a Luthier named James Curtis. The custom Tambura is a beautiful instrument and it's great to be able to play two tamburas at same time. This instrument accomodates this by allowing me to play it lying flat and the other traditional Tanpura in its traditional upright position. Below is another video showing the custom Tambura in use: Video Clip from Aradhna Concert Here was a concert that I was able to join in as a guest and play the Tambura(s). I'm on the far right playing the Tambura(s), I was playing two Tamburas at once! One is a traditional model played upright and the other you can't see too well because it's lying down, but it's the custom Tambura featured in the above video.
